Privacy
What this website collects
Short version: the site sets no cookies until you accept analytics, and it works exactly the same if you decline.

Who is responsible
SourceQ, Switzerland. Questions about anything on this page go to hello@sourceq.io, and we answer them ourselves — there is no privacy team to route you through.
What this notice covers
This page is about the website — sourceq.io and what happens when you read it. It is not about customer data flowing through a connector we build for you. That is a different relationship with a different legal basis, governed by the contract and the data processing agreement, and described on Security.
Analytics, and only with consent
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read. It loads in a mode that stores nothing until you accept: no cookies are written, and no identifier is sent, if you decline or simply ignore the banner. Accepting lets it set its own cookies, which is how it recognises a return visit and reports sessions rather than isolated page views.
What it collects when you accept: pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location from your IP address, and your device and browser type. Google does not receive your full IP address — GA4 truncates it before storage. We do not link any of it to a person, and we do not use it for advertising: ad storage and personalisation stay switched off whatever you choose.
Changing your mind is one click, and it takes effect immediately:
Requires JavaScript, as does the analytics it controls.
What is collected whether or not you consent
Serving a page leaves a record of it. Our infrastructure logs the request — IP address, time, page, browser — because a server that logs nothing cannot be defended or debugged. These logs are not analytics, are not linked to the measurement above, and are kept only as long as they are useful for security and diagnosis.
Who processes it
- Google — Google Analytics, when you have accepted. Google acts as our processor and may process data outside Switzerland and the EU, including in the United States.
- Google Cloud — the site is served from Google Cloud in the Netherlands (europe-west4).
- Cloudflare — sits in front of the site as DNS and reverse proxy, terminating the connection and filtering abusive traffic. Every request passes through it, so it necessarily sees your IP address.
Email you send us is handled by Google Workspace. We keep correspondence for as long as the conversation is live commercially, and no longer.
Your rights
Under Swiss data protection law and, where it applies to you, the GDPR, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time — the button above does exactly that for analytics. Write to hello@sourceq.io and we will answer within 30 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or to your own supervisory authority in the EU.
What this page does not do
No advertising or remarketing tags. No social media pixels. No session recording, heatmaps or scroll tracking beyond what GA4's standard measurement reports. No newsletter, so no mailing list. No third-party fonts served from our own domain — the fonts come from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google directly.
Tell us about one API
Send the documentation link. You get a complexity tier, a recommended architecture, a fixed price and a delivery window — free, usually the same day. If a vendor connector would serve you better, we will say that instead.
